We received the most up to date pictures of our daughter yesterday. She is now 7 months old and weighs close to 14 lbs; the report said she has a strong personality. Since we are ALL strong willed at the Davis household we know God has put her in the right home.
It is getting hard to wait when you want something so much and getting the pictures - while grateful to see her and her progress - makes you realize how big the hole is in your heart. Last night at church, a friend prayed a heartfelt beautiful prayer for us and the adoption process. Please keep him in your prayers as his daughter and family are in China on a mission trip until late July; he is missing them as well. It so comforting to see how God has placed so many carrying individuals in our life to assist us in the process. We are so grateful for the blessings provided by God that has made the adoption possible and we know all things happen according to HIS plan, but this doesn't erase the desire to hold our child.
